Mama sing to me again,
The world is singing a bad, bad song
I need to hear your loving voice
So I can block out that hateful noise.
Mama please please sing to me again,
The world sings a chilly song.
Oh the warmth of your humming,
Will surely stop my heart from dying.
Mama I beg you please sing to me again,
The world is singing off-key,
If you would even mouth the words,
I am sure they would take out these barbs.
Mama, mama please sing to me again,
The world is singing a fake tune,
The song you sing is the only real one,
Its the only one.

Well, this shallower than usual. And get the punctuation right. Must be that off-key thingy you spoke off lately.
And yet the brevity wraps the message.

A good poem, though definitely not your best. I am drawn by its sentimentality.
